Mr William Han, an Australian Chinese, is Founder and Chief Interpreter of Smooth Interpreters Singapore Pte Ltd.

Mr Han graduated from a world-famous university, the University of New South Wales, and he got his Master Degree in Chinese-English Translation and Interpreting there. Mr Han has 4 higher education qualifications which are in different learning areas. Two of them are at master level. The 4 qualifications include Electronics, Computer and Communications Engineering, English Literature, Chinese Literature, Teaching and Translation and Interpreting.

Mr Han was an assistant accountant, an engineer, an IT manager, a project manager, an English lecturer at a private university in Singapore, an assistant manager in an Australian logistics company and a native-level English teacher at a public school of Department of Education in Australia. His qualifications and work experience from these different areas are the solid foundation of background knowledge for Mr Han to be an interpreter. This is because that only one who has broad background knowledge in different areas can be a genuinely good interpreter.

Since 2005, Mr Han has started to do translation assignments for legal cases of foreign business in China’s legal industry. Through many years’ practise and learning, Mr Han has been a Professional-Level NAATI Certified Mandarin-English Interpreter, and he is also a current Certified Interpreter at Australian federal government.

Mr Han founded Smooth Interpreters Singapore Pte Ltd with a goal, which is to associate the most excellent interpreting and translation elites from overseas to build a bridge across cultures.
